I'd love to hear how your solutions would work to fix the economy and still give businesses the incentive to stay in business and hire more people.
I figured this out the other day. And the answer is that our nation needs more Christians who won't be so negative all the time. The only thing to fear is fear itself and if you were to gain confidence that God is going to take care of his own, then you would not worry so much and everybody would stop trying to live beyond their means and just go about doing good. The main problem with the economy is GREED.
i agree with that, was just discusing that very subject a while back. big corp cares nothing for the people, i think people are just starting to realize just how greedy big corp has become. if the usa does not bring back industry, inovation soon we will screwed. we are on our way to a third world country

Her measly $25 campaign donation is lost in the avalanche of special interest contributions. As a parent of an adult son with a developmental disability, I was very touched by the CEO of the Waste Management Company, whose daughter has a handicap.
It is so important for these CEO's and upper level corporate executives to go "in the trenches", not only for advocacy of the workers' cause, but to observe the impact that their industry has on the local communities & the environment as well.
Corporate decisions not only affects workers' morale and wages, but also affects the health and well-being of all human beings in general.
These corporate leaders are making decisions that can affect their own children's health. Their families are not immune to their own corporate decisions.

Did you even bother to read the article in the link? The problem does not lie with the OP, the problem lies with those that are not astute or willing enough to take the blinders off. This country was supposedly, among other things, built on tolerance but intolerance for an Oligarchy or a ruling class. Don't you know that? If no one questioned and stood up to the powers that be, we'd still be colonies of the King of England.

Yes, it would help bridge the tremendous wealth gap if the corporate eilte actually walked among the people they look down upon.
They really live in their own bubble with other elitists like themselves.
They just can't relate, even fathom what working and middle income Americans are going through.
That's why there was such a rush to help Wall Street but a lot of twiddling thumbs and at best half @ss attempts to help Main Street.
