CORRECTION:

When doctors are govt. employees they will be able to spend all their time STEALING what was once.....reserved for the insurance/pharm. companies.

But everyone knows who the greediest, most inefficient turds of all....really are.
And THEY are within the GOVERNMENT....more than the insurance industry.

Yeah, we need some kind of health care reform....but THIS govt. powerplay sure as Hell isn't it!

And what's up with the hiring of something like 17,000 more IRS agents......that's included in this takeover bill, apparently?
If true.......how do THEY come into the equation of HC reform?

This whole thing STINKS of nothing more than a huge cesspool that they are DEMANDING we all go swim in and has a LOT more to do with CONTROL over the WILL of the American people and HC "reform" is their easiest way to do whatever they want with EACH life in America......in THEIR "will" for the people, IMHO.

OK....so the Dems just might take a huge loss this November....and probably will, but when the Pubs. take back control.....who's to say whether or not THEIR "true colors" aren't shown and they only EXPAND on this monster......instead of REPEALING it or doing whatever they can to END such an obvious mistake made by the socialist Dems?

I DON'T TRUST ANY politician of ANY party affiliation from this point on.

Who really knows just how carefully, how long and how methodically this whole thing has been planned and perhaps.........by ALL in DC?
The ENTITY.....that IS....Uncle Sam?

You know the GOP would react they way they have.......but who's to say there aren't some of them who can't wait to be back in charge after the Dems get booted in November.....only to capitalize on such a govt. expansion?
Patiently awaiting, lickin their chops, ready to run with this ball FOREVER?

I hope I'm just being a bit paranoid, but truly wish they could have KILLED this bill!

RIP......America

the least the health insurance bill can do is have medical school students get their massive tuition waived so that it makes sense for them to work for pennies once they get out of school. but noooo, give 'em hell all the way. i wonder if this is going to make med school less attractive?

Doctors do NOT work for pennies. This bill will not mean Doctors will be poor. It's about time that the Doctors who think that over $200,000 a year is a low income, just like the banks etc, get into the real World or go get another job. We want Doctors who look at our illness first and our bank balance last instead of the other way round as it is now.

The United States IS NOT ABOUT CONTROLLING HOW MUCH ONE CAN EARN.

If a Physician can earn a million a year while providing medical care - so be it. Kudos to them.

If the mechanic who works on my cars can earn a million a year - Kudos to them.

The problem is that Doctors are earning huge big bucks and still we have millions without health cover. If Doctors had been working in another job they would have been canned by now. People should earn to their effectiveness and how well they do their job and this includes Doctors. There are many Doctors out there who repeat tests so that they get more money from the insurance company. Maybe they should realise how distressing it is for patients to keep having tests that are totally unecessary as they already have had these results. Doctors charge insurance companys far more than if the patient had payed cash. Both pay the Doctors cash but they know they can abuse the system as the final tab is payed by our premiums going up and up.
Some Doctors fear the new health bill or a uhc because it will mean that they can no longer rip off the insurance companys.

Increase in litigious patients=increased number of tests=increased costs. So where is tort reform? Anyone?
