Most republicans may spend the next days boiling with rage and frustration.
But it only take a small handful of wackos (the eternal victims) with guns who lust to shoot people and blow up things to get their piece of revenge. These tea baggers are a bigger threat to public safety than foreign terrorists.
I agree with this. I just don't think that they would mount an overt attack.

Life is risky, whether you're sitting next to an outraged citizen or someone with a malotov johnson on an airplane.
Will something big happen? Probably not. Maybe some threats against a Congressman home on Easter break. If I were a legislator, I'd think about a Club Med vacation instead of going back to the home office to let things simmer down.
Healthcare is not going to pass. A giant bill that will do more harm than good and has almost nothing to do with healthcare and everything to do with growing govt might. I would love to see some serious public backlash. Why is it that only liberals have had violent displays against the govt in the last 30-40 years? Its time the liberals feel a little pushback. Obama's buddies were domestic terrorist, and all the liberals here seem fine with that, so I am sure they would understand some conservatives acting the same.
Who could have guessed a year ago that instead of "God, guns, and gays" being the primary motivators for the Republican base, it would become, "God, guns, gays...and health care?"

Id say you're about right. There will be a lot of talk about guns and ammo, the constitution and God (even more than usual) but I don't think there'll be any major uprising.
People have had some time to get used to the idea that the bill is going to pass.
