It is strange if Michelle Obama thinks her husband's Home Country is Kenya based on the fact his father was born there, what about Obama's mother and her parents. They were born in the US. Why would she cancel out the United States as his home country. His mother and her parents raised him not Obamas father.
He saw his father ONE time when he was around 10 years old yet he and his wife considers Kenya his homeland.
This is why a President MUST be natural born citizen, as intended by the Founders. No allegiance to another country. No divided loyalties.
She mentioned Kenya because she was talking about diesease in Africa. I'm sure if she was talking about farming corn, she would have referred to Kansas in the same way.
My family has been in this country for over six generations but I still refer to Africa as "The Motherland" - this thread is just another stupid anti-Obama hate parade.
What about Obama's mother and her parents? They were born in the US. They raised him. So Obama has a Motherland (United States) and a Fatherland (Kenya)?
Perhaps she could have meant Obama was born in Kenya.
Hillary Clinton supporters are the one who started the movement..
Well if it was for REAL then why didn't she bring it to court? huh? It is unconstitutional for a non-natural born person to be president. So if any of this was true, it would have been taken care of 3-4 years ago. End of discussion.
Addressing the crowds who crammed into the town, Reagan tried a bit of Gaelic, thanking the people of Ireland for welcoming him to his ancestral home. "I know at last whence I came,'' he declared. "And this has given my soul a new contentment. And it is a joyous feeling. It is like coming home after a long journey. I can't think of a place on the planet I would rather claim as my roots more than Ballyporeen."
