His father was born in Kenya. Kenyans celebrated when Obama was elected. He's never denied a strong connection to the place just like first generations born here talk of their home country of Mexico or India or wherever.
I find it weird that after all this time, Obama HASN'T been proven to be an american citizen. I mean SURELY SOMETHING would've come up by now, don't you think?

I see. So what you're saying is that our government knowingly allowed a non-citizen to be president simply because, why exactly? So everyone thinks he's not a citizen yet there he is, president of the united states. And he'll only serve one term because....everyone knows he's not a citizen, even though he was elected president. So there's been this huge conspiracy in the government, republicans included, to allow him to serve as president, is that what you're saying?
Hawaii has two major newspapers, the Honolulu Advertiser and the Star Bulletin.
BOTH newspapers include birth announcements, and BOTH newspapers record the August 4th, 1961 birth of Barack Obama.
Tell me you birthers, did Obama's parents know he would be elected president when he was born and put these ads in the Hawaii newspapers?
Anyone can put an announcement in the paper as my parents did when my children were born (I lived in another state). They wanted my friends in my hometown to know I had a baby and they wanted people to know they were new grandparents.

His mother was a US citizen so Obama is a US citizen no matter where he was born. He has a US birth certificate, showing place of birth as Honolulu, and a passport - you can't get a passport unless you are a citizen. You think he is an illegal alien or a resident alien?
