Just another case of liberals being true to their principles and anti-American right wingers wanting to ignore the Constitution when it suits them.

95% of Conservatives don't have an ounce of real Libertarian in them...LOL

The OP admits to agreeing with the President having the power to select American citizens for assasination without judicial oversight.

Do you know that this US citizen claims through is family he doesnt' get involved with terrorist planning or recruitment?
Lets here you say it.

"Obama made a bad decision."

Do you really believe it to be a bad decision? Answer for self first, and we go from there.

We just can't win if we don't let the President deem American citizens worthy of assasination.

"No due process is accorded. No charges or trials are necessary. No evidence is offered, nor any opportunity for him to deny these accusations (which he has done vehemently through his family). None of that.

Instead, in Barack Obama's America, the way guilt is determined for American citizens -- and a death penalty imposed -- is that the President, like the King he thinks he is, secretly decrees someone's guilt as a Terrorist. He then dispatches his aides to run to America's newspapers -- cowardly hiding behind the shield of anonymity which they're granted -- to proclaim that the Guilty One shall be killed on sight because the Leader has decreed him to be a Terrorist"

Mike and Ovacatto believe they are being patriotic and wise for ignoring these silly principles like due process when the President says so.

Why should I say that when what I wrote in the link was much stronger than that?

Who are you to question me? I back up my posts.

For the first time in our nation's history a president has authorized the assassination of an American. The silence from the left on this issue is deafening.
If he wasn't on the list, you'd start a thread complaining that Obama was weak.

Try and sell it to somebody else...

Two blogs is all you have? Lets check the ACTUAL liberal news sites and see what they have to say.

whew... finally found it. About 3/4 of the way down their page:

Anwar al-Aulaqi Added To CIA Target List: US Citizen Is First American On List

I suppose unconstitutional actions by this administration aren't a very big deal. This is becoming increasingly apparent by with reactions from the presidents partisan side as well has how the lefts media outlets react.

Basically, according to President Obama, detainees in Gitmo have a right to a fair trial here in our country, yet American citizens wanted for the exact same crimes... don't.

He is looking for a point to score on the war front to counter some of his negative poll numbers... but he just shot himself in the foot trying to do help himself.

The issue. Is that they government can declare you part of Al Quaida and kill you without judicial oversight.

Why don't you right wingers just admit you don't give a damn about the Constituion?

Scared little wussies want to just throw out the rule of law cause a few radical muslim peasants are running around on the other side of the World.

LOL! I love it. Your ability to redirect back to conservatives on every single issue... regardless if it is idiotic or not, is simply astounding.

Tell "conservatives" that they don't respect the constitution when a "liberal" president, ONE YOU SUPPORT, just gave the order.... is absolutely astounding.

Your grasp of reality leaves alot to be desired.

Family denials are always the most reliable alibi

Mr. al-Aulaqi is free to turn himself into the nearest American consulate or embassy so that he can avail himself of all of his constitutional rights and privileges. Something that I think he would want to pursue with some since of urgency.

Now I asked you a pointed and specific question regarding Mr. Gadahn, a response would be greatly appreciated.

No, more like the Commander in Chief in a time of war, not unlike the actions taken by Lincoln, or Roosevelt acting in the same capacity.
