God, how true that is. But this sick country thinks violence and death are great, but sex is perverted.
The people who want to excuse and condone waterboarding prisoners, are the same ones who demand that giving a consenting teenager an orgasm ought to be punishable by execution.

When that "teenager" is under the legal age of consent, then it is a crime.
And the person who committed that crime should be punished for their crime - including long jail terms.

It is. It shouldn't be, in most cases. That is to say, the age of consent should be made more realistic.

What is it prompts you to demand "long jail terms" as opposed to "short jail terms" or "medium jail terms" or "probation"? It's sex-hatred, period. A typical American vice. |

It happened in the middle of a period whereby I was teaching my lesson plan. After repeatedly asking her to sit down, she went too far. She grabbed my hand while trying and I instantly pulled away. I hope you don't think this type of behavior as acceptable. |

That is up to the legislature. In Arizona, attempts to lower the age of consent have been met with serious objections - and the age has not been changed. The AOC is 18.

I oppose any form of child abuse. And where, in the case of the title of this thread - Teachers abusing children, I support a minimum of 5 years in the State Penitentiary. The max would depend upon all factors involved in the abuse.
The two type of clients that I refuse to defend are DUI's and Child Abusers. |

What is wrong with you? The art teacher should have been fired ASAP. What disturbs me is hearing you say this type of behavior is acceptable. I hope you are never called to be on a jury having to decide on a case of this type, or for any other for that matter. |

And, I support the law. And as I said, those accused of Child Abuse and DUI's are the two types of defendants I will not accept. |

In Texas, the age of consent is 17. However, we have a separate law that criminalizes "consensual" sex between high school teachers and their students who are 17 or older. This includes students who are 18 or older.
Wonder what you posters who approve of teacher/student sex think about that?
