Im a conservative but I drive a Subaru Forester. Kind of funny because I didn't know it when I bought it but evidently it is more of a "liberal" type car. And I guess the Rainbow Coalition people like subarus and the company even encourages this affiliation, although I don't swing that way myself. No offense to those who do though. And I LOVE my Subie.
I an a Liberal Democrat. I currently own a 1992 Buick Roadmaster Wagon and a 1996 Subaru Outback Wagon. The Buick is on its last legs due to rust. I am going to replace it with a 5 to 8 yr old econo brick for someplace that never salts the roads. I keep the Subie for probably four more years and replace it with another AWD car from the same salt free place.
Being a Liberal does not mean I am not frugal and get a lot for my money.
Liberal and drive a 2007 Peugeot 307- Diesel - We get about 60 miles to the Gallon. We had a look at Hybrid cars but they were very expensive and their performance not that great.
Goes to show that people drive what the want, regardless of politics. Times have changed. The old Volvo, pipe smoking,Liberal, has long past bit the dust. Same for the Caddy Conservative, except, maybe he is now getting too old to drive anymore.
