47% of Americans DONT pay taxes, and our Welfare system is in the dumps, like drowning in the crapper, its so bad... No summer school, and my state could only pay for 1 End of Course test for students in high school ( a blessing in disguise)
We spend more than we take in. We are using loans for spending and paying our bills.
Our social programs are in the red and yet we expand the government and create more social programs.
That is what Greece did and it only got worse.
We ARE on that path..just not #1 or #2 in line.

Aren't the democrats the party that believe in more social programs?
Looks like its gonna be a rough 2 years til 2012?
The US's debt ratio is not too far behind Greece's and there in no comparison between a very small economy vs one of the world's largest. Portugal, Spain and Italy are right behind Greece's tracks. Greece is the "fall guy" in this. To be pointing out Greece is unfair. If anything, its Wall Street that needs to be pinned up against the wall.
