It's like a painting that you can't touch...it's hard for your mind to realize just how far away the other side of the canyon is. I haven't seen this but, one of the indian tribes built a giant glass sidewalk that extends from the edge of the south canyon....it's a "U" shaped sidewalk...I should say walkway because it has walls on both sides of it but, they're glass too. I think it's like $20 each person though but, wow...what a view....unless you're scared of heights
All we have to do is change our immigration laws to match Mexico's.
Quote:
Foreigners with fake immigration papers may be fined or imprisoned.
Foreigners who sign government documents "with a signature that is false or different from that which he normally uses" are subject to fine and imprisonment.
Foreigners who fail to obey the rules will be fined, deported, and/or imprisoned as felons. Foreigners who fail to obey a deportation order are to be punished.
Foreigners who are deported from Mexico and attempt to re-enter the country without authorization can be imprisoned for up to 10 years.
Foreigners who violate the terms of their visa may be sentenced to up to six years in prison.
Foreigners who misrepresent the terms of their visa while in Mexico -- such as working with out a permit -- can also be imprisoned.
Under Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony.
A penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of three hundred to five thousand pesos will be imposed on the foreigner who enters the country illegally."
Seems to me the AZ law is a piece of cake compared to Mexico's.
Arizona has done the right thing and if I could I would visit to support the state. But like many others--times are very tight.
Sierra Club is a front for a radical environment group that the UN started. Get environment friendly ppl to do their dirty work. They are for global governence so they want the borders open.
As for ABC----the media has neglected to report many things we need to know--they spin whatever subject their boss wants. If they aren't corrupt--why aren't they reporting the truth. There are many issues we find on the internet that we research and find the truth but they don't report.
The media is being run by the elite who want to control us.
When I hear people say they're personally boycotting Arizona, I have to laugh because let's face it, they've never been and had no plans to come here any way....if they have been here, there's a good chance they wouldn't be supporting a boycott in the first place....they would understand what's really going on much better.
We're going to visit family in Paradise Valley later this year and can hardly wait. Arizona is a beautiful state with great people...and a sensible government doing the right thing and telling the incompetent, gutless Fed to **** off! Go AZ!
We in Colorado, Nebraska and Illinois, applaud Arizona for standing up to this Illegal Alien attack on America. All tax paying citizens (that's only %47 of the current US population) support Arizona and will help open a pathway to send illegals back to where they came from.
BTW: Why does the US fly and bus the bulk of illegals back to mexico. They are illegal and should be punished by making them return the same way they came here...walking, car, tricycle, etc. at their own expense.
Hey, I will volunteer to drive them back myself! I support AZ wholeheartedly! I thought Obama was wanting to have this country "go green"???? Look at what these people are doing to our country. What a mess.
Oh, you will never stop illegal immigration, that like drugs is never going to stop.
As someone wiser than me once said, you build a 10 ft wall, all an immigrant needs is an 11 ft ladder.
That doesn't mean we should stop trying....
