You people keep saying IT WILL lead to racial profiling but refuse to wait to see what will happen. I really think that before we say what will happen or not happen it would be a good thing to give it a chance. You do know that it is over a month before it goes into effect, I hope. Obama's people don't know that but then they haven't read it, either.
What's dividing this country is the obscenely, immature reaction to the law from the Left....and with everything else they whine loudly about, unless they get their way!
I have been working all afternoon but I did hear that ICE refuses to enforce the Arizona law the same way they refuse to enforce the present law for immigrants that has been in effect since 1986. Blankety blank Democrats want only amnesty for votes and they aren't about to let Arizona try.
Can anyone here find a poll that doesn't indicate agreement with the Arizona law? I don't know of any but who knows?
If ever there was a reason to believe that liberals are not American patriots, this should be sufficient proof.
Another reason to despise liberalism.
AeroGuyDC !!! ... Without A Doubt !
I hear you AeroGuyDC ! These unfortunate folks may well represent the horrendous "Vermin" which finally and totally destroys America along with these blithering fools in the process !
Old Hanoi Jane, the nut case form back in the late sixties reminds me so much of this "Looney Tune" Liberal Crew ..... Damn she would approve 100% of their hatred of everything American !
Old "Bow To Burger King" HO and his trecherous crew have not as of yet won the campaign to destroy America !
If the ' Patriotic Citizens" of this great nation would wake up and become more actively involved in the political system things would change rapidly for the better and "We The People" would once again return to our "Rightful Place" as citizens of the "Greatest Nation On The Face Of The Earth" ! With no equals period !!! Wake Up America !!!

Did you read the link she provided, Specifically:
" -- It invites racial profiling. The law compels police to search for undocumented immigrants based on an ill-defined "reasonable suspicion" of illegality. The real-world effect of this language will be to force local police to use skin color, accent or limited proficiency in English as the basis for suspicion, much as sheriff's deputies in Maricopa County (Phoenix) already have been widely and credibly accused of doing in hundreds of lawsuits. "
And:
"-- It ties the hands of law enforcement. Since the law allows any citizen to sue local police for failing to enforce immigration law, police will be distracted and diverted from other priorities. Some police chiefs are wondering whether they will be sued for failing to prioritize illegal immigration if, for instance, they assign a team to crack down on drunk drivers. Their fear is compounded by the threat of fines of up to $5,000 per day for police agencies that fail to enforce the law. Little wonder the bill was opposed by the state's Association of Chiefs of Police. "

Do you know that your Chiefs of Police did this before ICE refused to enforce this law? Yep they said just that today. The problem for me is that they also refuse to enforce the standing US law that has been there since 1986. I wonder if there is a chance that they will continue to refuse to enforce the standing law much longer.
I will say that what they are doing is trying to force Congress to pass a new law that will include amnesty for illegals. The Congressmen of both parties are thinking that if they manage amnesty they will get a few more votes from those illegals. Yep, ICE is saying that we have to have a new law to provide something for those illegals who aren't able to get amnesty since the1986 law provided amnesty for those who were here then.
We can have a new immigration law without amnesty but not according to Nasty Nancy and Dirty Harry.

And speaking of the "vermin" that will destroy America......an illustration of same just doesn't get any better than this.
