Obama seems to shy away from controversy when it doesn't look like he'll come out on top.
It seems that these folks with activist backgrounds are all for talking, protesting and condemning but when it comes time to act, they are nowhere to be found.

Obama will come out front and center again when and if the spill is contained. Then he'll say he's in charge.

We had a coworker that did that. Would disappear when it was time to get to work, only to reappear at the end of the day to share in the warm glow of a job well done. The Poser-in-Chief seems to be cut from the same cloth.

FOXNews.com - Photo Op-inion: Obama vs. BP

Sometimes funny, sometimes serious, these images say it with pictures instead of words: Obama administration taking on BP and the oil industry.

Believe me, he knows what he is doing- and so do I!
Interesting....The ultimate "cleanup" of the prior Administration?

lol...

If the Feds dropped the ball it's on the regulatory side....but you don't believe in regulations so you're kinda stuck asking the President to save you from the big bad oil slick.

No fury for the Corporation pumping 800,000 gallons of oil into the gulf? Why am I not shocked?

Default Obama moves to center in seeking distance.

Obama distances himself from:

Rev Wright
Bill Ayres
The Afgan president.....for a while
Israel
Sestak
Specter
Blago
The news media
The AZ governor
His previous statements about healthcare, economy, the surge, gitmo, etc. made during his presidential campaign and in office.....

The American people
BP

Obama looks at the world in his rear view mirror. Does everything backward, even his hindsight is suffering.

By distancing from BP, PO is trying to placate the public who he sees as shallow, stupid and susceptible to such a move. This strategy is in contrast with his cuddling up with Iran and other enemies.

You would think PO would want to partner with BP in such a way to eliminate layers of intermediaries and chance miscommunications which could be critical in this time of crisis. The political facade is more important than getting the job done. The capper was sending the lap dog AG to the gulf in a flurry of meaningless publicity to create the image of control.

Get your GPS to figure out where PO is after all the desperate distancing is done. Surrounded by so many distanced situations, Omama appears to finally be centered.

You're right. He'll come out when all is well. He's telling everyone that he's in charge, yet totally distancing himself from this. He wants his cake and eat it too. Once there is a "glory" moment to be made, he'll be front and center, with his fake little halo over his head!!!
