was in the form of TAX REDUCTIONS? Thought you folks on the Right were all for TAX REDUCTIONS.
$13 a week in the form of a payroll tax deduction is MEANINGLESS.

It's not the job (heh) of the federal government to be creating jobs.

They will never get it.

The government can only create government jobs, paid for by tax dollars.

The government can create havoc, that kills the private sector.
No tax dollars coming in, to pay for all those government employees and welfare entitlements for the lazy.

This economy can easily be sent spiraling down by some catalyst. Only a matter of time now. Confidence is also being destroyed by fake numbers such as these. I'm suprised the plunge protection team didn't push the stock markets higher late in the session like above the 10,000 level on the Dow before it closed.

The private sector exclusively hires educated white males to manage; Indian and Chinese H1B's for IT and high tech; illegal Guatemalan women for hospitality industries, Mexican women for fast food, Mexican men for construction and light manufacturing and agriculture. Black women are almost exclusively public sector employees. Black men are not wanted by any sector except the prison industrial complex. If you are depending on the private sector to turn around the unemployment mess you are deluded. Count on the PS to further their efforts at outsourcing and automation and to continue the decrease of workforce that is underway. Count on them to use Stimulus money to build plants in Mexico or buy off INS agents. Count on things remaining the same or getting even worse jobswise until the revolution is over. At that point, however, it won't matter.

It is (heh-heh) the duty of the federal government to conduct census. It is a constitutional mandate.
