Just like millions of single mothers out there, you're in the same boat. Most men prefer women without kids, and vise versa. Not many want the little snotty nosed step child responsibility.

Maybe you should hook back up "wit yo baba momma" ;-) or momma's lol. (prob correct)
This is one of the rudest comments I've seen on City Data - ever. Your attitude is so blatantly vicious -- it breaks my heart. "Ilovegermany" I bet you do...

the mothers are still around, i just try to spend as much time with them as i can. And be a active role in their life instead of just popping up when i can or want and leaving.

your rude and no one would want to have kids with your messed up attitude so dont worry. i cant believe someone would react like such a little teenage twit " im better than you cause i didnt have kids" maybe he wanted kids ever think of that? having kids is a gift and a wonderful decision for those who want kids. obviously your selfish and small minded and with that attitude your going no where fast.

Well thank you for responding. But to be honest with you, most young women in their 20s aren't going to be interested in a guy who is 24 and already has two kids by two different women.

On the other hand I believe that in this day and age, having kids is selfish.

The world is already over populated by a factor of ten (or more depending on what studies you read/believe,) a war of resources between China/Russia/US/Europe/India of some sort is going to happen in the next 30-50 years, and there are lots of children who desperately need to be adopted into stable homes.

Add in the continued destabilization of the Global Economy by business interests, Global Warming, GMO foods that have to be licensed from the manufacturer, and the continued extinction of species critical to the environment. I would be incredibly ashamed of having to look at my child and trying to say "Sorry" for the world that they're inheriting.

I hear you. I have the same problem here in FL, yet when I went to Portland for a month, I found it to be an entirely different world.
Tampa area and Dallas seem like they could have more in common in the everyone has to keep up with the joneses type mentality and LOTS of urban sprawl outside both cities.
