Wilsonville is a great community to live in, great schools, lots of community activities, beautiful large lib., small town feeling, nice people, very low crime rate, if any-xerox and other corparate tech headquarters in town, beautiful surroundings, minutes for the countryside, farms, movie theater, family fun center..., need I go on?

My experience is dated, but for what it is worth: My nephew is bright, very bright. In his sophomore year at Canby High he was gently told to find another school.. we can't keep up with you. The kid would finish his homework on the school bus and play on the computer at home. Nephew was too young for his parents to send him to college. He was admitted to OES on a scholarship... way out of their normal admissions process. Nephew is now an "individual contributor" (under 35 yoa) at Microsoft after graduating in Mathematics from U of OR.

Unless things have changed Canby does not have a strong honors program and doesn't know what to do with gifted students.
