Folks, Portlandia is simply unlivable. This is what happens when you have extreme leftism run amok. You would have to be crazy to work or own a business in downtown Portlandia.

Yeah, James, the whole city was just about burned to the ground.

They didn't want to waste the Molotov cocktails they were planning to throw into the Republican float at the canceled 82nd Avenue of Roses Parade.

I don't know what is worse, the perpetrators or the ones who dismiss this type of action.

Protestors DO NOT HAVE THE CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to destroy property, deny someone 's freedom speech, or violently attack citizens. The public officials that allow this behavior should be placed right in jail next to the perps. And yes, the public officals are allowing this disgrace to fester.

They just don't get it.

You really need to explain what you mean here. Who has dismissed the disgraceful actions of some of the protesters? The police? The mayor? Who? "Allow this behavior"? Are you suggesting martial law? Summary executions? What exactly should be done to prevent this, now and in the future. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is all ears.

This poster wants more outrage. The city of Portland is still here and no I don't condone violence but I have something called, perspective.

jamesblazen - You really need to get some counseling so that you can stop obsessing about your ex (-city) and the painful breakup you obviously experienced. Your posts suggest that you are really still in love with your ex and you need to punish her by pointing out all her faults to make yourself feel better. It's really unhealthy and impedes your ability to move forward with your new city.

Put her behind you, stop obsessing about her and let her go. It's best for everyone.
