My husband and I (early 30s) decided late last year that we'd start TTC this year, so I went off the pill, started tracking my temps this past January, and started taking a prenatal multivitamin. My temps have been a little weird each month (not as consistent as the idealized sample charts you find online), but I was at least able to see a definite jump in temps around 10-15 days before my next period started (cycles have typically been about 26-30 days long). My temps usually dip down to a low of 96.6-96.8, then I have the jump into the mid 97s and I eventually reach about 98.0, then my temps drop during my next period. We started TTC in May, no luck so far.

I'm currently around CD26 right now, but I still haven't had a sustained increase in temps. In fact, this morning was my lowest temp yet for this cycle (96.6). My temps have been fluctuating between about 96.7 and 97.4 (down for a day or two, then up for a day or two, then down...) since my period ended over 2 weeks ago.

One issue may be that I got a cold that started July 21, which lasted about a week. I've read that a cold can delay ovulation, but won't prevent ovulation. But this seems like it's taking way too long. I had a cold back in April which started right around O time, and it didn't cause nearly as much temp fluctuation.

Anyone had an experience like this? I know we aren't a bunch of doctors here, but what are your thoughts about what's going on? Thanks!
