"It's the most wonderful time...of the YEAR!"

We had some pretty lively FF talk last year. Hoping we can do the same. When are your guys drafts going to be now that the lockout is over? What rookies are high on your want list?

I'm in 3 leagues as of now, including my first auction draft (as a sole owner, I've co-owned in them before), which I am excited about. I am also defending champ in my big money league, so I'm going to be smack talking a ton in this pre-draft period

One of the more polarizing draft discussion so far is around Vick. Everyone saw the ESPN article about how he is the easy #1 pick (this is scoring dependent, but assuming your league isn't too off the wall with its structure). I for one, will not be taking Vick #1 if I get the pick, I think his #s will be down (hard to go anywhere else) and I usually make a point to take a QB later than most other people.

FOOTBALLS BACK!!

I have already had a few rookie drafts in my dynasty leagues. Still have a few redraft and rookie drafts to go (yes, I am in far too many leagues).

Personally I think Vick's production will be down this year. It seemed like teams were starting to figure him out at the end of the season. And if they don't do something with the offensive line he will never make it through a season.

I generally play in leagues where you are starting some combination of 6 RBs/WRs. The numbers rarely ever work out where taking a QB in the first round (let alone the first pick) makes sense.

I won my league as well. I need to rent a kings robe for the draft like last time. Of course then I will speak in the third person and "The defending champion will select..."

Same here, won the $$ and the belt at my league at work, looking forward to this Year's trash taking and banter. FF is all about understanding the scoring system of your league and draft around that. We have a PPR league Offense as well as defense, so much better then just 14 offensive players IMHO.

If we get enough interest we can do a free league. I would be up for it.

Yeah, I'll do it for kicks as well. IMO, if we are going to go that way, make a separate sign up thread.
