I think the Texans missed a golden opportunity to get Alex Smith this past offseason. I believe Schaub is a steady QB, but not a franchise guy that will take them to the next level. He's not going to lose the game for you, but he damn sure won't win it either. Are the Texans destined to be stuck as one of those perennial playoff teams that can't get to the Super Bowl?

Schaub isn't the only problem or even the main problem. The play calling is just way too conservative and we need wide receivers.

Also why would you want to replace Schaub with Alex Smith? They are both practically the same.

We are locked in an expensive contract with Schaub. So, love him or hate him. We are stuck with him. So, this is a pointless question. Just get one board.

Was hoping the would go after him.

Good team, weak QB.

Its like a might warrior with no head. Powerful, still dangerous, but directionless. Easy to takedown

Your description of Matt Schaub also aptly describes Alex Smith.
