Either that, or a 25-point comeback, including two must-make two-point conversions, the game-tying touchdown (and 2pt-try) in the last minute or regulation, and the game decided in overtime, all engineered by one of the all-time greats who shattered numerous passing records while doing so.
Gee, I wonder which it could be - all that, or just 'cause it happened yesterday?
Yes it had all those. If you could tell this was going to happen. Everybody would say, I just got to see this game, it will be the best game ever. The Falcons blew it. Now they're crying about the unfair OT. If you would of done your job, there wouldn't of been any OT!
...and it sure would be nice of the people in Atlanta to give their players a ticker-tape parade anyways, I'm sure they would appreciate it...
Not going to happen Ghengis, I read this a.m. a small group of fans welcomed the team back to GA, sad, very sad.
Falcon fans want more attention, media coverage, respect for their team, their fan base needs to work on getting rid of the "fair weather fans" moniker they seem to have.
And a great comment about Belichick, on what is next, some time off??? He responds, no, other teams are 5 weeks ahead of us in preparation for 2017, fans have to love the way their coach thinks!!!

You're a great poster susancruzs but what does that have to do with Falcon's fans' beef with the media discounting or outright ignoring your team and players (in favor of worse teams)? I'm here in Atlanta and I can tell you that the city was excited about the Falcons. I can also tell you that many in Atlanta were and are still devastated over Atlanta losing the SB. If they weren't talking about the Falcons, I would agree with you there but ATL is too big a metro to have majority fair weather fans.

After the kind of collapse they experienced? Hell I wouldn't even want one. I can't imagine that would have gone over well. If the roles were reversed but the Falcons still lost, sure.
But that kind of loss leaves everyone associated with that organization with a bad taste in their mouths and I think everyone involved just wants to forget about it and look ahead to the off-season.
