If both count as road games, then I see nothing wrong with the Redskins playing two games over there. It's not like it's a true home or even away game anyway. Those fans over there are just excited to see a real live NFL game. I don't think they have an allegiance with any one team.

First place in the division! Don't know what's going to happen from here on out, but for right now, I have to say, it feels really good. They have some very winnable games down the stretch, so it's theirs if they want it bad enough. Yesterday's game felt like a playoff game, especially in the fourth quarter when the Giants started to comeback. Thank God Alfmo gave us some well earned running yards when the 'skins needed them the most.

I'd like the NFL to arrange for the Redskins to be allowed 10 home games starting next season LOL. 5-1 at home, and Kirk has been lights out in Landover. He got away with what should've been a pick 6 early, though LOL

Kerrigan sighting yesterday. He was ballin'. Perry Riley has stepped up as well. This defense is so bi-polar. We are going to destroy Dallas next week.

With a few more Mcloughin drafts, the Redskins will be a superbowl contender in 2017

Honestly, I think next year's two road games in London is going to be a blessing in disguise for the Redskins. Of course, assuming both games happen.

Yeah, Kerrigan was playing lights out yesterday. And he was being held all day long. It was so freakin' obvious every time Manning went back to pass, but he hardly ever gets the call. I mean, the guy had him in a freakin' headlock for Pete's sake! Still, he was able to get to Manning and very nearly had another tipped INT pass like he did in his first ever game against the Giants. The Ryan is definitely back on pace with his sack %.

Kirk continues to impress me. I have complete faith in him as the Redskins' quarterback at this point. I know the team is Dr. Jekyl / Mr. Hyde when it comes to home games VS road games, but this team continues to play better and better. And it's not coming from guys like Culliver or Hall, it's coming from your Breelands, your Dunbars, your Blackmons, etc...it's coming from the young guys who want to succeed. Breeland is clearly the best guy in that secondary, but how impressive has Blackmon been?

The team, overall, just played with a lot of fire and a lot of passion, and was not willing to let the Giants run them over. They need to continue to play like that for the rest of the season. There is no reason why this team can't win out. They clearly have the easiest route to the division title than the Giants do.

If they win the division, and assuming that the Bengals don't collapse.. It'll happen.

But.. My understanding was that the games would be back-to-back.. Which certainly would be an advantage, or at least, a lack of a disadvantage, for Washington.

They could go to London on Monday/Tuesday.. Practice.. Play the game on Sunday, stay in England and practice there until the next Sunday.. Play that game and then return that evening.

The bigger question would be whether or not the Bengals could get clearances for all their players to enter England. Undesirable types and all that (Yes, I know they've cleaned up a bit)

Oh.. As for yesterday's game.. Jordan Reed the Penalty Machine is STILL getting too many looks.. I think they need to get Rashad Ross more involved in the offense as well. And whoever decided to put DeSean Jackson in to return a punt should be shot. There's WAY too big a downside there.

I thought the second London game had to do with how the Rams finished in relation to the Redskins. Maybe that's wrong? Speaking of the Rams how's that dynasty many predicted they would create with all our picks working out? This was exactly why I was behind the trade for Griff. Sure it blew up in our face but the Rams have shown what I have always believed. You can have a great roster but without a good QB none of that matters, you have no chance.

Back to our team man I hope I was wrong on Kirk. He has played great. As a young QB he still needs to beat a good team on the road but they are playing big games in December, nobody saw that in September. So even if they fail to make the playoff I have zero complaints. This team is better and improving. The moves SM made to improve a horrible secondary have been tremendous.

I'm not sure what the second London game is hinging on. You might be right, Dave, might have something to do with how the Ram's finish. I was assuming it was if the 'skins won the East or not. They are definitely playing the game against the Bengals though.

- The reason for putting Jackson back to return punts is that for one thing, he did that in Philadelphia. And he killed the Giants with punt returns before. I think it was a psychological move more than anything else. While I'd like to see more out of DeSean Jackson that one big play and that's it, he has that explosive ability to turn anything into a quick strike score, and that's the reason why they decided to put DJ back to return that punt. He didn't return anymore punts the rest of the game. It's kind of like when Joe Gibbs would put Darrell Green back to return punts. Like Jackon, Green was explosive and could turn a punt return into a huge play (see the 1987 playoff game against the Bears.) Green very seldom was a punt returner, but you knew when Gibbs put him in to return punts, it was a big game. The Giants game on Sunday was a huge game.

- The reason for Jordan Reed getting so many touches is that he's a huge weapon. He's our version of Gronk. Why in the world would the Redskins purposely not target someone as effective as Jordan Reed? Some of those calls on Reed was very ticky tacky. Some calls were right on the money. I think the Redskins need to continue feeding him the ball, because he's tough to bring down and he'll fight for the extra yards. Things would have looked much different had Nile Paul been healthy this year. You would have had two solid pass receiving tight ends who can get open. I sure hope Paul is able to come back next year and contribute for us.

- As for Rashad Ross, it's all about who's performing better at wide receiver. Right now, the perfect combination of our top three wide receivers consist of Garcon, Jackson, and Crowder. JC has quickly become everything Gruden had hoped he would become for the Redskins. Jamison should easily be our number one target in the coming seasons. Now, Ross has done a great job with kick returns and punt returns. I would like to see him get more of a look, but at the same time, the Redskins need to roll with who gives them the best shot at winning games. If the season was lost, yeah, I'd say we should give a long look at guys like Ross, but right now, his best spot seems to be at returning kicks.

Overall, I like what I see out of this team. I don't expect playoffs, but right now, it's hard not to hope it happens, simply because the Redskins control their own destiny at this point. And, again, they have the easiest path. If they can continue their winning streak at home and beat the Cowboys, that will also give them back to back wins for the first time this season. Seems like anytime the Redskins get back to back wins, they continue on winning. They just need to get that initial streak started. This is the best time to catch the Cowboys as well. Honestly, I think the Redskins just need to win four more games to clinch the NFC East. That's two games against the woeful Cowboys, one game against the Eagles, and a win either at home against the Bills (which will be a tough game) or a tough road win against the Bears. All remaining games are very winnable.

Yes, and do you remember that Darell Green was injured on that play and damn near missed the Super Bowl?

We just got DeSean Jackson back from injury.. Putting him in to return a punt was dumb. You don't put your only explosive WR back to receive a punt. Especially one that is just coming off injury.

I can buy what you're saying about Reed and Ross.. Though.. Teams start focusing on taking away Reed.. That could shut the offense down. And it could lead to more picks, because they start anticipating the ball going to him. Spread the ball out more.

Yeah I can see it both ways. We have gotten nothing this season, again, from our punt returns, I love Crowder as a WR but he does not have the top end speed to ever be a great returner IMO. DJax can change a game in an instant and the odds of injury are really remote. But it's true that his value at WR is so obvious I can see why others would hesitate to take the risk.

I'm just thrilled we are still playing big games this late.
