Cards...........No offense

Packers...........No defense

Lions..............No defense

NFC South Representative........No way Dallas will face any of those teams

Are you joking?
Lions have the 2nd ranked defense in the NFL. Packers 12th. Dallas 16th.
How do you rate the Cowboys then?

The only defense I would be concerned about is Seattle. Cowboys defense is unpredictable

perhaps i should have clarified, how about the 2008 cardinals who were 9-7, and were thought to have no chance of even seeing the super bowl without buying tickets, nearly beat the steelers.

or the 2010 seahawks, who made the playoffs with a 7-9 record, and again were thought to only see the super bowl if they bought tickets, lost to the steelers.

as i said never discount ANY team that makes the playoffs.

Amusing these discussions because once it is playoff time, all previous assumptions are probably wrong. Teams make changes as the year progresses and many are totally different the last half of the season.

Player health has a great deal to do with it. Did a critical player just go down with an injury and who is the replacement? Many factors in play here and broad statements, this team has the best defense or offense may not mean a darn thing.

The Seahawks lost to the Steelers in the 2005-2006 Super Bowl..

The 7-9 2010 team that beat the Saints in the WC game lost the next week to the Bears..

Yep, you are right because the Bears then lost to the Packers in NFC Championship game in 2010 and went on to beat Steelers in SB XLV. Steelers are AFC, Seahawks NFC they wouldn't play AFC until the SB, and they lost in the division round that year.

Cowboys will get 6th ring this season. In the end, all the chatter about not beating Green Bay in Green Bay, or we can't win in Seattle, will fall by the wayside. Cowboys will win at either place.
