get a grip. Cutler can throw 35 ints this year and the Bears can go 4-12 and it would still be too early to say this. A deal like that you can't fully assess until a few seasons down the line (and certainly not after 8/9 games). Short-term results thinking seem to be like an epidemic with Broncos fans this year i.e. "McDaniels is a genius that made Tom Brady!" and "Orton is a top tier QB," are just silly. Enjoy the success, but lets calm down on the over the top long term conclusions.
I hate to break it to you, but we watched Cutler for 3 years in Denver and saw the same things he's doing in Chicago. He's never shown substantial improvement, and that was working under a renowned offensive coach in Shanahan. Your offensive coordinator in Chicago didn't even want Jay Cutler to be his quarterback in Chicago.
Unless Jay has a major epiphany, this is as good as he's going to get. He's a feast or famine type and in clutch situations he's usually famine, and you guys gave us two firsts, a third and a legit starting quarterback for him.
Or rather don't ... if you don't want to see the Broncos defense look like they did at the end of last season.
Kyle Orton just threw the ball 52 yards to Marshall for the touchdown.
What was we just sayin' about him? Oh yeah;

I hate this. I miss having a defense. Can we go back to the uniforms and playing bad teams again. Oh wait, I thought the Redskins were supposed to be a bad team.
Is Bailey losing a step or two?
Nice Orton. Get Marshall killed. Don't throw the ball for a two yard gain on 2nd and 30.
What happened to the Broncos' pass rush and the O-line's ability to create some time for Orton? This might have something to do with the 6-0 vs 0-2 moreso than playing a couple of AFC North teams.
Marshall dropped it, Diangello Hall is a stupid liar.

Orton was looking good, the REFS on the other hand were only looking at what they wanted to.
We made plenty of stoopid plays ourselves though sigh.....
