Just breaking Tampa has fired Jon Gruden as their coach after 7 seasons. I did not see that coming.

Wow, I'm shocked too! but I guess the way their season ended he was on the hot-seat regardless.

I'm sure he'll end up with a new team by August though

Neither did I. I just got home and this is the first I've heard about it. I suppose Tampa personnel got tired of waiting.

I'm just tuning in to ESPN. Apparently there will be a press conference at 5pm Eastern time. Shocked? ABSOLUTELY!!

Makes some of the head coaching jobs that are open a bit more interesting. Maybe KC could have a coaching change.

I knew he would be fired and good riddance. Its inexcusable to be guaranteed the playoffs then when December comes you lose ALL your games. Thank God he's gone, now maybe Tampa can make it further in the playoffs.

It's decisions like this that will always keep Tampa as a second rate team. They fire the wrong people. If I was the GM, the roster would look alot different under Coach Gruden.

Oh well, Gruden will get another team to take to the Super Bowl. I'll bet ol' Mr. Bowlin in Denver is thinking he may have jumped the gun with their new coach hire the other day.

Further than a Super Bowl win?

Waiting for what? A World Championship?

TB is going to get a better head coach than Gruden?
I just don't see it.
