Wow...I can't believe a player would even voice his opinion like that. Kind of a sore loser so to speak. If you click the link on page one...there is a poll. Going to the poll and voting...it's shows 80% of voters chose "just part of the game". Like 84,803 votes! I'm sure the Cowboys would have done the same thing. Why should any team stop playing until the game is over? 27 to 3 or 34 to 3...it really would have made no difference. I'd be embarrassed as a team member having a co-player spouting off like that. Sounds like something out of grade school.
Here's a thought...and mod delete this if it's out of line...
Whats the difference between a 5 year old and Brookings?
A five year old will eventually stop crying! Ahahahahahahahaha! (I kill me)
I'm OK with it Rance. I just off the phone with a friend of mine who lives in Albuquerque who owns a sports card shop there. He has had his fair share of Cowboy fans come in the store today shrugging their shoulders. Says one, "It's bad enough we lose by 31 points, but Brookings?" Seems to be a familiar saying.
By the way, people, I'm OK with blasting Brookings, but in regards to the Cowboy fans on the forum, let's keep it civil here. Thank you.
I also don't agree with Favre throwing the TD. But, it was a legitimate play. There's no rule against poor class.
If the Cowboys can call a blitz on the play, down 27-3, then Favre has the right to throw it in the end zone.
It was not even a classless move by the Vikings. The Cowboys were still coming at the Vikings full throttle. If the Cowboys has stopped blitzing, then they could have complained.
But if the Cowboys are blitzing, the Vikings can score.

Honestly, I think the Vikings should have gone for a 2 point conversion and an onside kick after that!
In the proposed rule changes for the 2010-2011 season, if one team is up by more than 2 touchdowns with 2 minutes or less remaining, both teams will gather at the 50-yard-line and play ring around the rosey for the remainder of the game.
