does a death at home, even planned, have to be disclosed when you sell the home?

I've read some of the messages in this thread and thought about how I want to die. After carefully considering all the options, I've come to the conclusion that I don't really want to die after all.

Personally I prefer to die in hospital than home , so far never had deaths at home somehow I think it would be uneasy to live in a home where someone died in to me...

I don't think it matters if i die in my home country or a foreign land though .
Quick and painless if possible so I won't spend month sick and be a burden to anyone. I want to be buried in my native country.

That's rather a problem for someone else.

My mother's house has had three people die in it in the last ten years. They all died peacefully, "old and full of days."

I haven't seen it as a problem. A death at a hospital is usually at the end of an illness that I'd rather not suffer through or have my family suffer through...not to mention the useless expense.

I would have no problem living in a house in which a family member (or even a stranger, ie., a previous owner) died a natural death. A suicide or murder is another issue. That's "tainted" property.

Yes ....... it's not particularly that I want to live forever, it's just that I don't want to die.

Same with me, but I would make it a beautiful blond, a beautiful brunette, and a beautiful red head. Mind as well go out with a bang!

Ha Makes me recall that old codger joke. The octogenarian was asked how he'd like to die and he replied, "The same way I was born, between the legs of a 21 year old woman".

Home asleep, shedding the old life and stepping into eternity. That sounds cowardly doesn't it? To want to die in my sleep.
