Forums as this can be a powerful tool for positive social interaction while unifying masses for sharing information, assistance, understanding, and leaning.

From time to time we all fall victim to our own practice of abstraction. Its my experience most with a healthy mindset to be patient and accepting of constructive criticism.

Although reserved, I am often disgusted by the plethora of peanut gallery comments, hecklers, non-productive negative naysays, belittlers, and the like on forums.

Am I wrong to believe aforementioned behavior overtly reveals of another to be:
- weak character
- abusive
- insecure
- insensitive
- bully complex
- other, please suggest as desired.

Psychology posters feel free to chime in?

But that is what always happens on forums as well as any other place that allows a commenter to hide behind the guise of anonymity. It's just human nature...shrug...

Don't know about all that...just saying that when there is anonymity, people will say (and sometimes) do things they wouldn't necessarily say or do otherwise. Here is a recent thread that talks about the worst:
What is it about anonymous message boards that bring out the worst in people?

I read most presented by the link, than you. Ain't it the truth though.

I suppose to sum matters as obstinate dissonance for them and their willingness to defend the un-defendable.

Thank you.
