I think I have been watching a little too much You Tube during this sheltering in place age. Just now switched back to network tv, and there was a commercial on. AND there I sat, remote in hand waiting for the "skip ad" icon to pop up so I could get on with the show. SMH. (It never did pop up, darn it!! LOL)

I rarely eat out, and I usually eat very healthy (mostly vegan, cooked from scratch, low sugar, based entirely on veggies and whole grains).

But hubby and I ordered a pizza last night. Just a medium cheese pizza, light on the cheese.

Now we feel like death. I'm so sluggish, it's like a horrible hangover.

How do people eat stuff like that on a semi-regular basis and have the ability to be productive at work? I seriously feel useless right now. Maybe they have a stronger will to work despite feeling like they're dying?

I hate that the new large TVs have the stands on the ends rather than the center base. They don't look as good and you have to have a huge piece of furniture that takes up so much space or go the trouble to have it mounted on the wall.

I think it's all in what your body is accustomed to. I have heard other people who eat super healthy and splurge on something that they feel sick afterwards.

I can't wear my Jaeger LeCoultre watch when it gets over 85 degrees because the leather band makes my wrist sweaty.

This. A thousand times this. We did manage to find one with the center base, and I'm so very glad, because this meant that we didn't have to replace the perfectly good piece of furniture that's been holding up our TVs since the days of 19-inchers.

My tv's mute button will only mute the volume by half. You have to hit the button twice to get a full mute. There could be a way to adjust that in settings but it drives me absolutely insane.

I had to fire Instacart because we were consistently charged for things we ordered but texted by shopper she could not get and in fact we did not get with delivery. The last order had $48 overcharge.

We now go to another nearby store for curbside pickup since they do not have home delivery. It gets me out of the house and gives the car a reminder of what it is there for.
