Hey, get this - I dropped my remote IN A GLASS OF WATER. It immediately died. I mean, what are the chances? So I ordered another one and GET THIS - It's for the year AFTER my TV was made. So it wouldn't "pair" even though it looks exactly like the remote that I used to have. So I had to order ANOTHER one. I don't even know how to turn my TV off and on without the remote. So I have been having to settle for Christmas lights, candles, and a Christmas playlist in the evenings. Sigh.

I thought I'd try something different with my hair, so I pulled out the straightening iron and proceeded to burn myself on the second move. It was then that I realized that I'm ok with my boring hair. The burn is on my middle finger so I get to show people and flip them off at the same time.

The forced air heat noise kept me up for a while when I woke up at 4:30 AM. I didn't feel like getting out of bed to turn it down.

A Christmas card fell down in the middle of the night and woke me up slightly. I remember thinking, "Oh, great, an intruder is here to murder me," and then I fell back to sleep. This morning, I saw the card laying on the floor and the big mystery was solved. Also, what a wonderful survival instinct I have. If a bear were chasing me, apparently I'd make it half a block before offering him some condiments for his dinner.

Well, sometimes it's okay to take the path of least resistance.

This is a puzzlement to me. I spend much more time than I should puzzling over this. (I know I could Google, but this is more fun.)

Is it

I’m dreaming of a white Christmas with every Christmas card I write.
May your days be merry and bright…etc.

Or

I’m dreaming of a white Christmas. With every Christmas card, I write, “May your days be merry and bright…etc”

I’ve been craving Chinese food
When I got off the plane at gate C4 there was a kiosk with Chinese food
Ended up not getting it because I still had to walk to gate C 59 and didn’t have a free hand with my luggage.
