Do I want home-prepared fried shrimp tonight or General Tso's chicken??? Or save the shrimp for tomorrow and get the General's tonight?

One of my Delaware pullets left an unwanted deposit on my John Deere garden tractor.... At least it wasn't on my shoulder.

I have 3 Christmas stockings to fill, and want them all the same.

Today, there were several items at the store where they had only two like pieces, and I had to include a similar but not exact item for the third stocking.

Really. What is the world coming to?

haha

So I have been having to settle for Christmas lights, candles, and a Christmas playlist in the evenings. Sigh.

If it's a smart TV, you can probably download an app to your phone to act like a remote. I do that with my Roku TV, and can even do voice commands.

You could probably control you lights, candles, and playlist at the same time. Technology!

I don't know who ordered the cold weather but 15° this far south is totally uncalled for. I don't think my chickens will barter feathers for chicken feed so I can have a warm winter coat of feathers like they do. Someone told me today to add insult to injury that it is supposed to snow next weekend. If I wanted snow I could have stayed in either TN or MO....

Snow flurries are predicted here in NE Texas for Christmas Eve but no accumulation is predicted - yet. They didn't predict the intensity of Snowmaggedon in 2021 either till like the day before so yeah...I'm pretty skeptical in general. For that matter, they didn't predict the low we had this morning (I think 28F) OR the sleet we had off and on all day long Friday. So...Ok.

It's so sad when the coldest I've ever been was right here in Texas - at -4 degrees F and blizzard like conditions and I was outside trying to dig out and turn off my pool pumps in the driving snow and wind, freezing half to death! Listen, I don't have clothes for that sort of thing. I had to go in and change at one point and then come back outside and finish up! My garage door was on the north side of my house and it was frozen shut and had ice and snow all piled up outside it! I hate that sort of thing, I really do. It was an anomaly here but I don't know how you guys who have to deal with that every year stand it. I like the kind of snow we usually get, where we get a few inches and it's gone by the next day. Photo opp! And the low is in the 20s. Not below zero!

For no reason a box of printer ink cartridges fell off my desk last night. Found them on the floor this morning. Maybe it's Santa's elves out and about.

Hubby is moping because he tries to make it the whole year wearing shorts, instead of long pants. It’s 32 in Savannah this morning and will get even colder next week.

The hole in my bagel is too big so the butter is sliding out of it.
