The physchology of male behavior incredibly varies a lot from culture to sexual orientation to religion to age group and so on and it just makes you ask yourself, why?

From acting all ghetto to being a lumberjack to being a countryman, what exactly causes the varying degrees of masculinity?
It seems only the basic expectations of being a man irregardless of identity include being emotionally resilient, getting ripped if possible, working as hard as possible and being agressive/dominant

Cheers

Upbringing (household), culture (ethnicity), and location (nationality)

Fascinating sure, not not shocking or crazy. Humans are very complex beings.

Example, we can use probably black culture

You're from somewhere very metro, there's the expectation to be way too gangster

If you're supposedly from the hood say, you are just expected to know basketball and listen to rap

Grow up somewhere very hippy and you're expected to be a stoner

These all apply to hierarchy of black masculinity of course and not black people in general

Other cultures too have more than one masculine subculture, in Japan you got the Samurai to the WW2 crowd(I think that's what is called?)

That's stereotyping.

But we DO stereotype. We observe and file away trends of behavior in the little gray cells. Maybe not PC but scientific, no?

This reads like a 12 year old boy's version of what he thinks it means to be a man because he's watched too many action movies. Fortunately most men mature beyond this.

No one knows. Every version of masculinity has detractors saying it is bad in one was or another. Virtually all of them have social media traction. If you are make and especially white male, you just have to accept you are an evil despicable being and whatever you do, think or feel, or however you act is wrong.

That is today's society get over it.
