Finally, we have sold our house up north, had the closing and we are now getting settled in our home in Port Charlotte. All we need now is to wait untill Tuesday after the holiday for the moving van to arrive. Glad we have furniture and clothing in the house here.

Welcome! We moved in last June 10th and the heat and humidity were humming. We unloaded a 26 foot truck with just help from my FIL. It'll make the rest of the summer look tame to you!

Welcome down Rock Creek! Glad you made it. Yes, the heat will take a little getting used to, but if you have a boat the air on the water is 10 degrees cooler! So get out there and enjoy that! Check out the area - it has a lot to offer. Look for festivals - they happen all the time. Have you been to Matlache yet? It is a really cool artsy community on Pine Island. And, to keep you cool- they have a fantastic Ice Cream store there! :-)
