White Lake is 1.5 to 2 hours away near Elizabethtown.

Yes. White Lake near Elizabethtown is the best most clear lake with a white sand bottom. It is considered the nations safest beach too. We just bought a park model home on this lake and love it!

Tucker lake is nice large pond, not reallly a lake. It's a campsite/RV park on the water.

Anyone from New England will think that Tucker Lake is a pond, but down here anything that is bigger than a small farm pond seems to be termed a "lake". Tucker Lake is a fun place to picnic and bring the kids, and I think it is spring fed. That may be why it is clear.
