I am looking for rentals of townhouses or apartments in the vicinity of Raleigh / Cary / Morrisville. I came across available housing near or in Tryon Village. Is this area safe to live in? I had read that southeast Raleigh is not a desirable area to be in.

That area is fine. You'll find a lot of NCSU students living around there.
