I have a split rail fence in the front of the property. I have in the past had to replace a post and got it from Lowes...

However. Recently I had an incident where i went out and started the truck to warm it up and didn't notice the e-brake wasn't on (it's a 5 spd f150)

yup, it rolled down the hill while I went in for more coffee Blew right through the driveway gate and snapped the post and ended in the ditch. The truck is fine folks, nothing to see here lol

So I went back to Lowes, and home Depot and wouldn't you know it my style of split rail with the round posts has been "discontinued" in favor of a new squarish more "rusty looking" post...

So I have looked and called around and have had no luck!

I can't afford to replace the ENTIRE fence for one stinking post

any ideas on where to find one? I don't even care if it is used at this point

I don't know what the truck story has to do with it, but you might try Seegar's Fence. They have several locations.

I liked the truck story. Sounds like something I would do

I haven't seen the round split rail posts around in some time. You could always make one. Agri Supply sells round posts...maybe Tractor Supply. You can make the slots with a large paddle bit and a chisel.

Where are you located?

In Chapelboro I'd say call Fitch, but don't know if it's worth it if you're in North Raleigh. I would imagine there are some independent lumber yards in Raleigh and Durham somewhere, though.
