Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory sounds like it might fit the bill. There is one at Briar Creek and at Triangle Town Center. IMO it's delicious. Ditto for the recommendation on See's. If they now have a year round store (vs their holiday kiosk) I'm in big trouble....although at least I wouldn't have to load up during visits to California like I'm some sort of deranged chocolate hoarder....

Just checked out a few options today. World Market had much of the same stuff Fresh Market did, but at slightly lower prices. World Market also has small and medium sized candy scene eggs.

I'd be a little cautious of the World Market novelty stuff - I've given some of their items as gifts to be told, "That was really neat! Tasted awful, though.". I think some of their stuff is fine, but if it looks questionable, you might not want to go there.

My boys are a little older now - but found that the candy and baskets ended up costing a fortune and the kids were on a sugar high for days. They agreed to trade the easter basket/candy for a shopping day on Good Friday when they had off and buy a new toy at Toys R Us. Took the pressure off - eliminated the sugar and calories - and they kids were super happy! just a suggestion - i know that Easter carries its own traditions (my mom did a basket for me even after I got married) - but i re-invited ours :-)

I emailed See's and it's just their holiday kiosk and it won't be returning until November. My husband used to have a client out in Cali that would send us a HUGE box of See's every Christmas but with his new position he's no longer in charge of that client

I'm trying to decide if this is good news or bad news. ;-)

Oh well, I think I'll leave some suitcase space on those trips home for my See's stash. Judging looks from the TSA be darned!
