My folks are coming into town just for the day tomorrow and I was hoping to take them to the Flea Market at the State Fairgrounds (weather permitting). I was wondering if the flea market is usually back up and running one week after the fair has closed up. I imagine it takes those indoor vendors a few days to set up their shops again!
Are there any other events or festivals going on in Raleigh, Wake Forest, or Cary this Saturday?
BTW, you can all thank me for this wonderful rain we are having. My parents only come to Raleigh twice a year on their way down to Florida and it has always rained when they are coming. I always rave about the wonderful weather we enjoy here but it always seems to turn cold, wet, and dreary while they are in town. They are starting to think Raleigh is more like Seattle! Maybe I can convince them to stay for two weeks......it would probably rain for 14 days straight and the drought would be over!
