I'm sure it's around somewhere. How about that old fashion candy store at Crabtree by the food court. Smith's Red and White in Dortches(Rocky Mount) sell it. You could always get it from most any gift shop at the beaches. NC State Fair sells it...or used too. On-line for sure. I'll look around

I didn't want salt water taffy until I saw this post. Now I too would like to know where to find this locally.

Actually Parker and Otis in Durham might have this, now that I think about it. They have all kinds of random candy with a general store vibe.

Oddly enough, I saw it at KMart off of Western Blvd. recently - but I'd suggest the new Rocket Fizz store off Kildaire Farm Rd. in Cary (in the Trader Joe's shopping center) - I'm almost certain I saw it there, they seem to have everything! Good luck -

I got some at Trader Joe's last month but I'm not sure they have it all the time.

Honestly, I was just looking for sugar free candy, but even I was impressed with this place. They didn't have a lot in the way of what I was looking for, but wow, they had some crazy-interesting stuff. I'd recommend them to just about anyone, just for the entertainment! I think they've definitely hit a niche.
