We got a microfiber material sectional from Havertys 3 yrs ago for $2500. It has held up very well and I can take the covers off and wash them which is great.
Try furniture concept. I recently bought a sectional from them. They are very reasonably priced & delivered the furniture at a decent fee. Its a local family owned business & not a chain like Ashley, Bassett, etc. I found the other 'popular' stores to be too expensive. We had bought an entire bedroom set from furniture concept around 5yrs back & its still in good shape.
expect to pay a premium for quality made in the usa furniture. frankly to me it is worth it. People complain about no jobs in usa and then buy all that cheap foreign made crap and complain that it doesn't last. why they don't see the correlation is beyond me.
Decades ago NC was the furniture capital of the country if not the world. Not anymore and that is sad. Empty factories, deserted communities. it all is interlinked.

^^^^ But... Americans want better middle income while paying all workers in their vendor chain 3rd world sweat shop wages...
We have a sectional coming from Cooper Furniture in Cary.
Made in NC. Seemed like a quality piece to me.
Under $3000, IIRC, but that is not my department.
Saw some Flexsteel sofas that looked well made the last time I was shopping for furniture. They were above my price point, but seemed to very heavy duty.
