I wouldn't be surprised if there is a law, but I know I've seen stands in my neighborhood, and many others. I think if it's just a kid selling KoolAid on a Saturday, you "should" be fine.
For the record, I was (trying to)making a joke. Pink being a color the HOA might scoff at. (but Beige and Akrew are probably fine, hahahaha)

I don't think I succeeded in making my joke, but I would not check with HOA. I'd go for forgiveness rather than permission. (I don't live in an HOA neighborhood, so take my comments at face value)

What is our country coming to? F the police. Put that lemonade stand up and make, er, well, a stand against the man.

Seriously, it's pathetic we even have to discuss this.

Totally! I was thinking the address and schedule should be posted so we can all show our support in the form of purchasing ice cold lemonade.

Call the Cary Police info line and invite them all to come support the lemonade stand! Betcha they'll make an effort to support the cause and help the kiddos earn some spending $$.

Kids in my hood do this all the time. Never a problem. I can't even imagine that an HOA would have a rule against a lemonade stand. LOL Maybe you could purchase some protection from the Cary Mafia. *images of 7 year old kids in pin stripe suits with slicked back hair*

Don't. By the time anyone thinks to have a problem with it, you'll be long gone.

We've had lemonade stands in our 'hood, you'll be fine. I am also in the "better to ask forgiveness than permission" camp. I happen to know there is nothing in our covenants about lemonade stands.
