My son's girlfriend will be in town tomorrow for one day.
First time in Raleigh..

They are not the museum type..
Love outdoor activities..

Any suggestions??

Pullen Park. Bike ride on any part of the greenway. Segueway tour of downtown.Trip to Farmers Market...

I second the farmers market. The JC Raulston arboretum is another beautiful outdoor spot and not too far from the farmers market.

Historic Yates Mill Park is a nice stroll around the pond.

I've done the seqway tours with my girlfriend when we started dating. REALLY fun time if you've never done one, and a great way to see the city, and when you're done, you're in downtown, so you can go out to eat or drink, or whatever.

Highly recommend, if that's their cup o tea.

I have always wanted to do one too..
Weather is looking iffy..

We may do Imax & eat out if it rains

The Imax here is very nice. It's the only theater in the area I go to. Walk over to Raleigh Times or Buku for lunch.
