Relocating to Cary (who isn't?) and am serious about shopping, but more importantly getting good deals. Which newspaper in the area has the best amount of coupons and ads? And which day's paper are they in- Sunday?

Also looking for all the furniture store ads this Memorial Day. Where I am from, the furniture stores advertise heavily in the non mainstream paper and on a Thursday. Is there a different paper I should be looking at specifically for those ads or will the one recommend work for this need too?

Searched previous posts, but they all were quite a few years old. Thanks in advance!

News and Observer is the only game in town, Chezhead. Sunday is Coupon Day.

Great - Thanks! Does the Cary area (West Cary in case it makes a difference) receive any direct mail ads to your mailbox? Free of charge obviously?

Generally speaking, I've found better coupons online and on specific apps than on Valpac and similat services. Frankly, Amazon beats the local price more often thancI wish. And now we have 2 hour amazon delivery

I do print and use a lot of digital coupons, but there are certain ones that are only available in the papers. With coupons, I currently buy Crest toothpaste toothbrushes and mouthwash, name brand shampoos stylers and body washes, amongst many other personal type items for $0.25 or less. So until Amazon beats those prices I will continue to coupon- even if it is just for a household of 2.

I am super excited about the 2 hour Amazon delivery though.

My earmy experience with Amazon prime now was that the items I want cost more or were not available via 2hr delivery (guess they need to recoup costs somehow).
