Speaking of Texas the number one donut to try is Round Rock donuts. Nothing will surpass the awesomeness of those golden glazed
They look good. I'll take one of each with my Eight O'clock

I grew up eating KK and loved them hot, but finally tried some locally owned donut places in Dallas and in Chicago. WOW are they better than KK. I can't even eat KK anymore because they taste like greasy sugar to me.

Greasy sugar? Isn't that what they are? LOL I stopped eating donuts but I did used to swing in there when that "HOT" sign was on. Could easily scarf down 2 or 3.

That's what Krispy is. Other donuts I've had tend to have more texture and don't taste like grease and sugar. They aren't a cake donut texture, but are super fluffy and yeasty.
