Looking for some recommendations to have a shower regrouted. I’d like to get a couple quotes. Would appreciate if anyone has a recommendation and also to know the approximate cost. I know it varies by square foot - just trying to get a ballpark. Thx!

I can tell you it's going to cost a lot more than you expect. I was being lazy and wanted to hire someone just to re-CAULK my shower, and I thought the pricing was absurd.

If you've got another shower in the house, just do it yourself over a few weekends. It's tedious work but it's easy.

Given how hot the market is you might have an issue getting someone... Try Grout Medic

+1 for the Grout Medic, we re-caulked and cleaned & sealed grout in multiple bathrooms plus kitchen with them. Not a cheap job, but good result.

Like Cardinal said, just finding someone is going to be an issue. I've solicited quotes from so many contractors lately and most (99%) of them don't bother to even call me back. I'm assuming my project is too small and they don't need the work.

Thanks for the replies. Oh well, off goes the husband for a Dremel tool.

Having done the job I must say I tried the Dremel attachment and although effective it does take a lot of time. A 4.5" angle grinder with diamond blade is much faster.

An oscillating tool with a grout blade is amazing on tile regrouting prep.

+1 on Grout Medic. That said, if you're having leak problems, the shower pan may be at fault and re-grouting the tile won't necessarily fix that.

Thanks for the tool recommendations. No leakage problems, just need to update. It seems Grout Medic is the way to go if we abandon DIY.
