I suggest getting involved with the public art advisory board if you’d like to have a say in the town’s investment in public art displays and cost.

How would one do that? It says application period is now closed: https://www.townofcary.org/mayor-cou...advisory-board

I’m all for supporting art but Cary seems to be making really strange choices IMHO.

Attend the meetings, All meetings of the Board are open to the public. If you can't be there in person then, At Town of Cary, we're happy to offer an option to allow you to electronically participate in some meetings . The Town of Cary really wants you to be involved.

The sentences in bold are from the link you posted.

There's a FB page called Fuquay Varina memes (which seems dedicated to slamming surrounding towns, so it's kinda weird...I never realized FV was suffering from such an inferiority complex) but there are pictures of trees with underwear on them. Like the tutus it's a cross between disturbing and funny.

What I DO find offensive is how high they put those skirts. It's just an invitation for sexual predators to infultrate Cary and mess up our 2nd Safest City status. The skirts should go to the ground, or else give the trees some Jeggings.
Whoa...hey..... that's body shaming bro. Not cool. Let those trees be who they want to be.

Probably a response to being made fun of all these years for being named Fuquay Varina.

Actually she pokes fun at Fuquay a lot more than the surrounding towns. The underwear thing is supposed to be Fuquay's respond to Cary. It's self deprecating. Make sense?

You should check it out, some of the memes are hilarious.
