I thought I was pretty good about getting my flu shot early, but this is even better than me!

My job usually offers them end of October, which works for me because I've had the flu twice at the end of March, so the later the better for me.

I never got the shot that early before, but the boss lady said last Friday was the day. You see I married a gal who loves her shopping coupons, and Publix Pharmacy is offering $10 gift certificate with flu shots. So with Medicare picking up the tab on the shot plus the $20 of groceries it was a win win.

I might have to go to Publix this year. Last couple of years at Harris-Teeter was a $5 gift certificate.

Our kid's doctor suggested waiting until closer to Halloween so it'll last longer.

agree with DGM, we wait until early November so it will last through the football Holidays. Thanksgiving - SuperBowl.
