Yes, I am suggesting that we refrain from spreading rumors about a rape victim.

The right remains to do so.

based upon the news article, I don't see any reason to jump to the assumption it was a trick gone wrong. Now, the whole "asked her to go behind and look at an apartment" is highly questionable, as previously noted.

So, I'm just glad she screamed, and people heard her, and they were able to quickly find the perpetrator. I don't personally see any reason to say "alleged" because he was seen standing over her, and when apprehended had some of her affects.

but like y'all are saying, that's free speech and thought, and we're all allowed to take information and make our own judgement

Wow...that dude has 11 mugshots with 20 different charges since 2012. I don't understand why these people aren't behind bars already!

He has the crazy eyes. Not someone I'd accompany privately to anywhere.

That's the best question so far on this matter. Why are these criminals not in jail/prison?

One person is to blame for rape. The rapist.

100% the truth.

I am still a big fan of caution, but this man could have raped her someplace she was SUPPOSED to be, too.

perhaps some links to the various charges would help.

5 of them were DUI related. there was a recent "common law robbery" which seems to by definition include an assault.

Also agree that's not the best part of Apex. Regardless, a lot of people probably hear "the small quiet town of Apex" and think it's really safe overall.

Terrible what happened.

Is there data that indicates crime is higher in this part (55/1) of Apex? It certainly is not quiet as industrial noise is pretty constant in that general area.
