I must say, Jordan Lake was lovely. Let's hear it for technology that allows me to take work home and go sit on a beach on a Friday afternoon...

I got out of the car in Chapel Hill this afternoon, and felt my first blast this year of heat off the pavement.

Felt good!

Oy! I'm more of a 72 degree type of person. It was getting borderline hot out here for me...I don't know how I've lasted here my whole life!

Well....you want crazy heat weather....we had a high of 86 today in...Rochester, NY! I think a little NC weather followed me back up here. We were the hottest spot in the USA today according to the temperate map on Weather.com. JQ I am also perplexed as to how you've lasted as a 72 degree person in NC for your whole life. I'd expected you to have run away to the PNW or maybe New England by now.

Yeh...that's probably why I'm indoors most of the summer. Just stinks having to wear pants and a button shirt to work and sitting in my hot car. Ugh.

86 at the airport 69 by the lake. We're kind of right between the two and it was about 82 here. Trees are still mostly bare but the flowers are almost all out. I was actually missing NC's spring weather in March...but can't complain too much about this full blown spring/summer April! I guess Al Gore could though.
