I fly back and forth all the time on Jetblue. They usually have a special of $69.00- $89.00 each way. It depends on the day of the week and the time. My husband just flew back and paid 69.00 b/c it was a WED and it was 6:00 a.m.

I flew JetBlue to JFK back in June for $69 each way, you have to get them at least 3 to 4 weeks in advance to get the better deals. There are about 40 direct flights on all airlines from RDU to NYC each day (more than any other city RDU flies to).

Just about all the airlines have direct flights to New York. I've flown on American and Delta, into JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark on different occasions. Most airlines end up code-sharing with one of the regional jet partners (e.g. American with American Eagle, Delta with Comair, etc.)

We are leaving 8/27 out of JFK. I got $69 each way for three of us on JETBLUE. Always deal direct with the airline online. They always have the best prices but you must shop around.
