I wanted to start a new state fair thread that wasn't about pedophiles. Report on what the crowds look like, the best place to park, your favorite food items.
I usually just get roasted corn and a turkey leg before remembering that I don't like turkey legs all that much. Hoping I can save room from some of these other treats.
I pass on all that deep fried stuff. It's always the same for me. A foot long hotdog from Barefoot's, roasted corn, Al's French Fries and I alway get a bag of Houston's salted in the shell peanuts in the exhibit hall when I'm leaving to board a bus back to my car.
I have been in North Carolina since 2012 and the Triangle since 2014, still never been to the fair. I went to the website to try and buy tickets for this Friday but got confused by all the options, none of which read "entry ticket" or anything of the sort. I'd like to go, but...
How crowded is it in a Friday night usually?

I can't see that link...I didn't know N&O is paid subscription only? I'm already paying for Triangle Bizjournal, not paying another -_-
